Ken Hartley CFA, MBA
Mr. Hartley has managed investments for individuals and institutions for over 40 years. He brings a deep knowledge, both academic and practical, to client relationships. Mr. Hartley has the ability to listen, understand and guide a client’s investment needs through any market condition. He combines experience as an executive in the private banking industry with the entrepreneurial vision of founding multiple investment advisory firms. Mr. Hartley has an MBA in finance from Western Michigan University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder from the CFA Institute.
Don Moenning
Don graduated from the University of Puget Sound with degrees in both Economics and Business Leadership. For nearly two decades, Don has been working for independent RIAs, managing model portfolios, conducting equity analysis, and penning market insights. He specializes in equity selection and risk-managed approaches, and has extensive experience building institutional-styled asset allocation models. Don has exposure in other areas outside of portfolio management, including trading, retirement account modeling, relationship management, and client education.
Don holds a Series 65 securities license and aims to help individuals better understand the market and their investments. Don lives in Denver, CO with his wife, Grace, and his two children, James and Madeline. He is and is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, and a variety of sports.
David Moenning
David Moenning began his investment career in 1980 and has been an independent portfolio manager since 1987. In 1989 he founded his own firm which emphasized a risk-managed approach to the markets. He is currently responsible for more than $750 million in assets under advisement.
Dave graduated Northern Illinois University, where he was a scholarship track athlete, in 1980 with degrees in Computer Science and Economics. He is Past President and Chairman of the National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM), where he served as President and Chairman. In addition, he serves a member of the Rydex Dynamic Advisory Board.
Dave is also a sought-after author on the markets. His "State of the Markets" blog, which began in the late 1990’s, is an award-winning publication focusing on the key drivers of market movements. His writing have been featured on Investing.com, USA Today, Seeking Alpha, Benzinga, MarketWatch, TraderPlanet, iStockAnalyst, Zacks, StreetInsider, TheStreet.com, InsideFutures, and other media outlets.
Dave resides with his wife Catherine in Golden, Colorado.
Theresa Fanning
Theresa graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry Education from the University of Scranton. She also has a M. Ed in Natural Sciences from Carthage College. Theresa’s career in the financial industry led her to a small regional retail firm, a small regional independent firm as well as two major wire houses. Theresa’s experiences managing risk and operations in these different environments has shaped her ability to see things from every angle and develop open-minded solutions. She never forgets her roots as a Sales Assistant and understands what it is like to be “on the front line.”
Theresa and her husband Eddie reside in Dallas, TX but split their time between TX and AZ.
